Here you can find an overview of all meteoblue images which are available through the meteoblue weather API and most of the images are also available on the meteoblue website. For some of the images on the meteoblue website you need to activate a point+ subscription (e.g. Meteogram AGRO, Stueve, Sounding), some images are available for free (e.g. Meteogram All-in-One).
The following images show forecast weather. You can select from a wide range of meteograms, Pictoprints and air diagrams. All images are available through the meteoblue weather API.
Meteogram 7 days
This meteogram shows forecast for 7 days for 4 different diagrams with variables in hourly intervals. The data is valid for the selected location, available for any place on earth, and updated at least 2 times per day. The hour of the last update is written on the top left of the meteogram, below the name of the place and the coordinates. The meteogram is presented in local time.
The meteogram All-in-One shows the weather forecast for the next 6 days in one simple diagram, with weather symbols, a temperature curve, precipitation amount and type, cloud development and wind speed and direction in hourly time steps. The data are valid for the selected location, available for any place on earth, and updated at least 2 times per day. The hour of the last update is written on the left hand-side of the meteogram.
meteoblue meteogram AGRO shows the development of the weather with diagrams of air temperature, wind velocity and direction on the ground, as well as precipitation, clouds, spraying windows and evaporation. The data are valid for the forecast area of a model grid cell, without indicating special conditions of the selected place (e.g. differences in height). The display of all variables takes place in local time.
The meteogram AgroSowing shows the development of the soil temperature and precipitation for up to 7 days. Additionally it includes sowing windows for maize, wheat, barley, rapeseed, potato and sugar beets. The sowing window is separated in three categories: suitable (green), less suitable (yellow) and unsuitable (red) periods for application in hourly intervals. The meteogram AgroSowing is only available through meteoblue API.
The meteogram AgroSpraying shows the development of the temperature and precipitation for up to 7 days. Additionally it includes the spraying window. The spraying window helps identifying suitable periods for applying crop protection measu- res, by showing suitable (green), less suitable (yellow) and unsuitable (red) periods for application. The conditions are calculated from wind, precipitation, temperature and humidity. The meteogram AgroSpraying is only available through meteoblue API.
The meteogram SNOW shows the local development of temperature at various altitudes, and the precipitation (blue for rain and light grey for snow), snow melt and snow height (third diagram) at ground level in hourly steps for the next days. For this meteogram, the forecast is done for a region corresponding to models grid cell and not a specific location.
The meteogram Multi-Model shows and compares the forecasts of each model. It is an addition to the meteogram and shows data at the altitude of the respective model grid cell. This can lead to differences and inconsistencies in the local temperature. The goal of the Multi-Model is not to make local predictions for the selected place, but to show the possible divergence of the evolutions of the weather, through the presentation of different models.
The 14-days forecast shows the weather forecast for the next 14 days period, with weather symbols, a range of maximum, average and minimum temperatures and precipitation amounts, as well as the precipitation probability for each day. The range between possible minimum and maximum values shows the possible weather developments.
The diagram Pictoprint shows a detailed 3-hourly forecast for up to 7 days with daily temperatures, wind speed and wind direction, precipitation probability and the rainSPOT. Additionally it includes times of sunrise and sunset. It is available for one single day and up to 7 days. You can also show a single particular day specified by mo,tu,we,th,fr,sa,su.
The diagram PictoprintDay shows a daily forecast for up to 7 days with daily temperatures, wind speed and wind direction. Additionally it includes times of sunrise and sunset.
The diagram PictoprintDayUvRain shows a daily forecast for up to 7 days with daily temperatures, wind speed, wind direction, UV index, precipitation amount and rainSPOT. Additionally it includes times of sunrise and sunset.
meteoblue meteogram AIR shows the weather development in the atmosphere, from ground to around 5500 meters elevation (pressure levels 1020 to 500 hPa) simulating the air layerings above the selected location. The variables are shown for 3 to 6 days ahead.
The meteoblue Sounding shows the weather development in the atmosphere, from ground to stratosphere level (pressure levels 1013 to 100 hPa) simulating the measurements of a sounding balloon.
meteoblue air trajectories show the air movement from the selected place throughout the following hours, for the selected altitude level (between surface and 150 hPa, i.e. approximately 10 km). The trajectory is calculated by simulating the air movement (wind) from the selected location.
meteoblue cross-sections show a vertical cut through the atmosphere. The standard cross-sections have 2 directions: North-South and West-East. The selected place you have chosen is in the center, where both directions cross. The size of the cross-sections can be set using the distance from the center (in "degree") and you can select the starting time.
With myMAP, you can fit the maps to your own particular needs by modifying some of the variables and using the zoom on the map. For each map you create, you can save it using the function "download" below it. The location selected corresponds to the black circle displayed on the map. The coordinate axes of the map show the coordinates of the selected place and the surrounding.
History & Climate diagrams
The following images show the diagrams that include historical or climate data. All images are available through the meteoblue weather API.
The meteoblue climate diagrams are based on 30 years of hourly weather model simulations and available for every place on Earth. They give good indications of typical climate patterns and expected conditions (temperature, precipitation, sunshine and wind). The simulated weather data have a spatial resolution of approximately 30 km. More information and more climate diagrams can be found on the meteoblue website. We also offer the climate diagrams as raw data through the meteoblue API.
The Climate comparison shows the expected weather, compared to the weather of the previous 10 or more years. Thereby, you can see how "normal" the current weather is. The Climate comparison locates the closest place which has a weather station with minimum 10 years of reliable measurements available. The name of the place with the station is indicated in the title, as well as the distance from the selected place.
The Climate observed shows the annual course of temperature, precipitation amount and days, as well as wind measurements from a closest weather station. The variables shown depend on the availability of complete and consistent measurements from the weather station and are aggregated on a weekly or monthly basis.
The weather archive diagram offers access to past weather simulations for every place in the world since 2008. You can see weather information for yesterday or the weather archive of the last years. The weather archive diagram is separated in 3 charts for temperature, clouds and wind information.
