Adapting the world-class NMM weather prediction model to meso-scale, we can detect climatic patterns typical of mountainous areas, lake shores and on the sea, as well as reconstruct weather patterns occurring in any place of the world with high precision.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the effort to maintain and optimize the performances of one of the top visited weather websites world-wide.

  • Develop and optimize high performance APIs

  • Drive technical designs, implement them with high quality and ensure a smooth release

  • Actively work with our system and API team to design high-performances architecture

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience developing and maintaining high-performance websites/APIs

  • Experience with PHP, SQL, JavaScript

  • Good communication and organisational skills

  • Fluency in English

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with PHP Phalcon framework

  • Experience with Swift, C++, Python, TypeScript

  • SEO knowledge

  • Fluency in German

  • Experience with web GIS technologies (WebGL, Mapbox, …)
