There is an easy way to access directly our mobile page on your smartphone without seeking meteoblue through your smartphone browser (like an application): Integrate our mobile page as a Widget on your home screen and you can reach it easy and fast like an application. Just click on the Widget and you can see the weather for your locations and much more.

Here are some explanations how to integrate the Widget on your home screen for iPhone and Android:

iPhone

1. First, visit as usual our website www.meteoblue.com through your smartphone browser. By this step you will directly find our mobile page, which is especially designed for mobile devices. It is clearer and easier to use than our website on smartphones.

2.When you have reached the mobile page, click on the button below in the middle. Then a menu will appear in which you can click on "Add to home screen" (see screenshot).

3. Afterwards a new window will open where you can choose the name of your Widget (e.g. Weather Basel- meteoblue). Later, this name will appear on your home screen under the Widget. Confirm the name you have chosen by clicking on „Add“ (see screenshot).

Now the Widget is displayed on your home screen and you can use it like any other Widget.

Android

1.First, go as usual to our website www.meteoblue.com with your smartphone browser. By this step you will directly find our mobile page, which is especially designed for mobile devices. It is clearer and easier to use than our website on smartphones.

2. When you have reached the mobile page, then you have several options to include the page on your home screen. This depends on the various smartphone manufacturers.

Here are two options:

• You can add the mobile page as a „Shortcut“. After accessing the page, open the options and select "add shortcut“ (see screen shot).

• Another possibility is to store our mobile page directly on your home screen. Go to our mobile page, open the options and select "Add to Home Screen".

Now the Widget is displayed on your home screen and you can use it like any other Widget too.
