Seasonal forecast
All the "anomaly" maps show the difference of the predicted monthly mean values of various weather variables compared to the reference period. These reference periods vary depending on the selected model. There are various third-party models available as well as a super-ensemble (SA-ENSEMBLE) created by meteoblue. The maps have a relatively high uncertainty. However, they are needed in certain sectors of the economy, such as agriculture, to enable long-term planning.
